A song for the road, men! It was the seventh “song for the road”, but the Troubadour had forgotten the melodies that came before just as he had forgotten each drink that had come before. The verses barely hung together at all, but the patrons didn’t care, for it was marvelously comic. To the Troubadour, however, his vocal prowess on this day was outstanding.
